Discounts on apps and games on Google Play nice handy. Google is testing a new feature

The Play store is testing another novelty – Offers. It will be a new button on the bottom panel that will offer you various discounts and promotions on applications or games. This sounds like a useful feature, as we don’t currently have access to the discount report as users. The report is provided by the Android Police portal.

The Offers tab is different from the current Offers and Alerts feature we’ve had in the Play Store for some time

Today, you can find a section called Offers, but you should also see free items or special offers. We didn’t go to it often, but if we came there once in a while, there was nothing there. The only offer to apply the promo code, if we have one.

You can find the existing Offers and Alerts feature by clicking on your profile photo. After the next click, you will discover two options: Offers and Notifications. Both are almost always empty.

The new Offers tab will now be available directly from the bottom panel of the main Play Store screen. It will contain time-limited promotions and should also include applications that will be temporarily free.

So, after the new one, the bottom panel will already contain five buttons (currently there are Games, Applications, Movies, Books). According to the screenshot below, the Menus button will be right in the middle, right after the Applications tab.

The new Offers tab isn’t available for everyone yet. Testing is currently underway, but its scope is unknown. So far, only about one user has been able to capture this new feature. However, if this feature is officially launched, it will make it easier for developers to inform users about their promotions and discounts. And we, as users, will also benefit from this as we discover new applications in action or for free.

A rich supply of paid applications and games that are now free
