Delete Twitter because of Elon Musk? Give the bird a chance!

Elon Musk buys Twitter: After a long back and forth, this is now finally certain. But many users are afraid of Musk’s plans, are looking for alternatives or want to leave Twitter. I say: give it a chance first and then decide – and not like a defiant child. A comment.

Elon Musk buys Twitter

The saga Twitter vs. Elon Musk seems over. Because the Tesla CEO has apparently finally taken over the short message service after a long back and forth. Finally, one would like to say. But his very first act caused a sensation. Because Musk has summarily dismissed almost the entire management team of the company – including the previous CEO Parag Agrawal.

Meanwhile, the richest man in the world apparently wants to hold the post himself – and thus intervene directly in day-to-day business. Many are afraid of this, because Musk has already hinted that he wants to get former US President Donald Trump out of banishment, for example.

Is Trump, the baron of lies, returning from exile?

And that despite the fact that lying baron Trump was banned from the platform for life after he called for the storming of the Capitol via Twitter on January 6, 2021. That would be madness! Elon Musk has also repeatedly emphasized that he wants to make the short message service a place of freedom of expression.

It remains to be seen what that will actually look like in the end. However, many fear it and suspect that Twitter will degenerate into a pool of hatred, hate speech and fake news. I fear so too. However, you shouldn’t jump to conclusions and delete your Twitter account like a defiant child who doesn’t get his way.

Because Musk has also made it very clear that he wants to take action against false information. Even if he sometimes falls into propaganda traps himself. Incidentally, reports that Musk is planning to lay off most of the Twitter workforce have since disappeared into thin air.

Elon Musk and Twitter: Don’t act like a defiant child!

And even if one or the other layoff is probably still imminent, Musk must of course also act economically in order not to drive the company into a wall. Because that would result in even more unemployment.

In the second quarter of 2022, for example, Twitter generated one Loss of approximately $270 million. And Musk is now buying that too. In addition, the executives who have already been laid off will probably find enough on the edge and new high-paying jobs anyway. What I want to say; give him a chance

Let him do it and decide when the time comes. And don’t act like a defiant kid who doesn’t get his candy. Because Musk talks a lot when the day is long and rarely bothers to talk about his chatter from yesterday. This was not least revealed by the takeover saga surrounding Twitter itself.
