Are you tired of banks offering “free” accounts and then having to pay for them anyway? The solution is ČSOB Smart account, which is really free of charge and without conditions. In addition, you can set it up online, anytime, anywhere.
Other benefits include simple account management in the ČSOB SmartBanking application, as well as secure and convenient payment by card, mobile phone or watch. You will receive a new VISA Classic payment card made of ecological material with your account. Cash withdrawals in the ČSOB and OTP ATM network are free of charge within the ČSOB Smart account package, and during the summer you can even take advantage of free withdrawals from all ATMs in the Slovak Republic and abroad, which may be useful to you these days.
The ČSOB Smart account is available for new as well as existing ČSOB clients and you can set it up without the need to visit a branch, for example online from the comfort of your home.
How to do it?
If you are not yet a client and you do not have an account with ČSOB, download the ČSOB SmartBanking application to your smartphone. After launching the application, click on the “I want to become a client” button and select a Smart account from the menu of accounts that can be set up online and click on the “Set up ČSOB Smart account online” button. Then follow the instructions on the screen. Upon successful completion of the process, you will receive an email at the email address you provided confirming that your online account has been successfully set up.
If you are already a client of this bank, you have the option of setting up a new Smart account directly in your ČSOB SmartBanking application. After logging in to the application, click on the “Online purchase” button, select the ČSOB Smart account and follow the instructions on the screen. You can also take out new travel insurance for your payment card with your account.

Combining the benefits of a stone bank with a digital one
