  3. Uncheck “Use playlist to apply the names of the music titles“, if not already done.
  4. Confirmed with “Take over” and “OK“.
  5. Leave the settings, click on “Insert virtual disc‘ and then to ‘Activate music file mode“. Confirmed with “OK“.
  6. Open “iTunes”, select “Add file to media library‘ and select the AAX file you want to convert.
  7. Mark the file in “iTunes” and press the key combination [Strg] + [Shift] + [N]to create a playlist that you can burn.
  8. Right click on the playlist and start the burning process.
  9. Select that in the settings window that opens virtual drive and the menu item “audio file” the end.

If “iTunes” asks you to insert a blank CD, open the “Virtual CD” settings again and make sure that the burner is selected for the virtual drives.

Alternative: OpenAudible

If the above option doesn’t work, you can use another program, which costs a bit: The “OpenAudible” tool shows you all your Audible audio books, downloads them or converts them to MP3 format if you wish.
