Complete “Ready Player Fun” and find Hideout
In the level 4 quest “Ready to Play” in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you guide Vanellope through the valley and show her various activities. In our walkthrough we guide you through all the steps of the mission and also show you Vanellope’s hiding place.

Start “Ready Player Fun”.
After doing an extreme biome redesign for Vanellope and your Friendship level with her at level 4 brought, you can start their second quest “Ready Player Fun”. Notice that her following additional requirements have to fulfill:
- Resident Nala unlocked
- Resident Mirabel unlocked
- Unlocked resident Scar and made quest progress with him
If all conditions are met, you can start the quest with Vanellope.
Complete hobbies in the valley
In the first step, Vanellope wants to accompany you while you follow activities in the valley concludes:
- Mine gems 3x: Use your pickaxe to mine the boulders on the map until you get three gems.
- 5x catch fish: Catch five fish, seafood, or seaweed from waterholes.
- Plant 30x: Dig up 30 fields with your shovel and use any seeds for crops.
- Harvest 30x plants or fruits: Gather 30 mature crops from fields or gather 30 fruits from trees and bushes.
Once you have completed all activities, speak to Vanellope to end the hanging.
Find Vanellope’s hideout
Next, Vanellope wants to play hide and seek with you. For this you should first enter Dagobert’s shop so that she can hide. The task then is to find Vanellope’s “dark and dangerous” hiding place.
You can get clues to their location by talking to Nala, Mickey Mouse, and Mirabel. They all refer you to a dark and dusty place on the sunny plain. More precisely, this means the Vitalys mine in the north of the plain.
Vanellope is in the left area of the mine. We have marked their exact location in the following picture:
Race to the mine entrance
If you speak to Vanellope in the mine, she will ask you directly to one Race to the mine entrance out of here. Whether you win or lose doesn’t matter. Run out of the mine and then talk to Vanellope in front of the mine entrance on the sunny plain.
Catch 3 fish in 3 minutes
For Vanellope’s final task, you shall catch three fish in three minutes. This is more than enough time. Just fish right from the bubbles of the waters on the sunny plain and you will easily complete this challenge. Fishes best with white bubbles, that’s where it’s fastest. Finally, talk to Vanellope to end the quest.
