Samsung has officially announced One UI Watch 4.5. Earlier this month, the ins and outs were already revealed by Evan Blass. Today we can officially get acquainted with the new skin. Samsung has worked on several improvements for the platform, so that using the smartwatch is even more pleasant. We will in any case see the new skin with the Galaxy Watch 5, about which we have heard a lot in recent times. Keyboard

With the arrival of One UI Watch 4.5 we come across a lot of improvements. Typing text, for example for a search or in response to your messages, will be easier after the update. It is possible to type your text by swiping, but of course it is also possible to use voice input. For example, while typing, you can also switch to text and vice versa, all with a simple swipe across the screen.

Dual SIM

One UI Watch 4.5 also makes it easier to make smoother calls thanks to dual-SIM support. You can immediately see which sim is being used and with which one you want to call. The new version also gets more options for personalizing the watch face. You can add your favorite watch face to your favorites in different styles; and you can also choose from different colors and functions.

Accessibility Features

As previously leaked, there are several accessibility functions in One UI Watch 4.5. For example, it is possible to enhance the contrast to make texts more readable, and you can also choose to remove animations, reduced transparency and less blurring effects. Auditory support allows the sound of the left or right output of a connected Bluetooth headset to be adjusted. One UI Watch 4.5 also gives you the option to make the screen of temporary notifications (such as brightness or volume) appear longer. Another option is to adjust the touch sensitivity of the screen.

Samsung announces that One UI Watch 4.5 will be rolled out from Q3 2022. In the meantime, more features will be added.
