Chromecast with Google TV is getting a miniscule update

If you have Chromecast with Google TV, you can expect a very small update for the device. It is the update STTE.230319.008.H1 and it is 59.61 MB. Normally an update is about 150 MB, so this is really a small one. But what does he do?

Both the 4K and HD models of Chromecast are getting some bug fixes and overall performance improvements. So just brush it off and polish it up. There is no further update for the remote control itself. Google also seems to be taking it a bit easier with Chromecast.

It is no longer working on Android 13 updates for Android or Google TV gadgets. That is not surprising and happens more often: Chromecast shot straight from Android 10 to 12 in October and with Android 14 expected later, it seems to us that Google is waiting for further major updates.
