Check out the new map for Warzone -apkrig

The wait is almost over. With the strike of tomorrow at 5 o’clock in the morning, players will be able to launch a new Call of Duty: Vanguard and throw themselves into a relatively traditional menu. Singleplayer campaign, extensive multiplayer and zombies. The format has not changed much for years, if we do not count the absent story part here and there, but we must not forget Warzone, which will accompany the third game in a row. Even the battle royale mode will undergo major changes with the arrival of Vanguard, although players will have to wait for them until December 2. It is on that day that the active map will be exchanged, on which the competition for the best player or unit will take place – from Verdansk we will fly against the flow of time to the Pacific Caldera. The new map has been talked about repeatedly, but only now do we finally have the opportunity to see what the map will look like and draw the first information about individual locations.

By looking at the map, you will quickly understand that this is not yet an ironed image, which would be intended for a detailed examination of the terrain. Still, there is no undercounter escape when the map was shared on Twitter by Chief Creative Officer from Activision, Pelle Sjoenell. Above you can see a cut-out from the photo, which also captures the military jacket, which is part of the offer of promotional items, but it is definitely not a coincidence or unwanted disclosure. Sjoenell himself in tweetu clearly points out to let players calmly on look at the new Pacific map for Warzone and it is naturally clear to him what he did. Nevertheless, his contribution does not have a dizzying number of interactions, although some details and interesting facts can be read from the picture, which are definitely worth attention.

The first thing you can read from the enlarged map is the size of the island. If each inch is to correspond to 1/8 of a mile, then we are talking about an area of approximately 10 square kilometers. This is in line with the size of Verdansk – regardless of its version – as well as the statements of Raven Software developers who did not talk about nothing bigger. It gives players a pretty clear idea of how big the battlefield will be available, and even though it can’t match large maps from the PUBG, for example, it’s an experienced size, supporting combat and brisk action. As for the individual locations, players will be able to visit the capital as well as the fishing village, go to the phosphorus mines or the top of the volcano, or turn east and run to the submarine base or the beach. There is also a port, airport and historical part of the map, complete with a farm approximately in the middle of the island.

In terms of transformation, developers are once again preparing an event that will affect all active players. At the end of November, another explosion is expected, after which Verdansk may disappear permanently. However, the question is whether Activision – and therefore the individual developers of the series – will really want to take away a tuned and popular map for players in exchange for a completely new and untested location. Everything has its pros and cons, and the negatives of the need to fragment not only the attention of developers but also players in the case of the operation of both maps could be mentioned, which is not quite desirable in multiplayer games. And the situation is, of course, a little different than with smaller maps used for traditional multiplayer purposes.
