Nokia 6.2 specifications appeared
Although Nokia’s return on the mobile market is still relatively recent, the Finnish manufacturer is already preparing for the third generation of its most popular smartphones. After the Nokia 6 and Nokia 6.1 were very successful in the budget market, the Nokia 6.2 is already in the starting blocks. Images leaked earlier this week already from a ‘ Nokia 8.1 Plus ‘, but according to the usually reliable Nokia Power User the device will soon be in stores as the Nokia 6.2.
According to the source, the Nokia 6.2 has a 6.2 inch screen with full HD resolution. The display fills almost the whole front, with only a small hole in the top left of the screen for the selfie camera. After Samsung Honor and some other major manufacturers, Nokia is the next company to replace the notch with a camera hole.
On the back of the Nokia 6.2 (or 8.1 Plus) is a double Carl Zeiss camera of 16 + 16 megapixel. The device is powered by a relatively smooth Snapdragon 632 chip, with 4 or 6 GB memory. That’s a nice upgrade compared to the Nokia 6.1, a 5.5-inch smartphone with a single camera on the back.
The Nokia 6.2 runs, like other smartphones from the Finnish manufacturer, on Android One. That is an almost inadequate version of Android. Users can also probably count on monthly (security) updates up to three years after the release.
Release this spring
The recommended retail price of the new aircraft is still unknown. Probably this is around 250 euros, just like the previous two devices in the Nokia 6 series. According to the source, the Nokia 6.2 will be unveiled in China at the end of January or February, with a Western release not much later. The Nokia 6.1 appeared in April 2018, so we can probably expect the successor somewhere early in the spring.
