Can’t get enough of the chatbot ChatGPT? Then you can now also install the chatty AI on your Apple Watch. From now on you don’t even have to grab your iPhone when you want to ask the chatbot something!
The ChatGPT app on the Apple Watch is not quite finished yet. You can already ask a question and watchGPT will give you an answer, but it is not yet possible to have a real conversation. That feature will come in the next update. The app is available in Dutch, English, French and Spanish.

The app is just not free. You have to pay a one-off amount of 4.99 euros. After that you can use the app indefinitely. At the moment, the app even tops the charts of the paid apps in the App Store.

Set up watchGPT: you need this
To set up chatGPT on your Apple Watch, you also need an ‘api-key’. This allows your ChatGPT account to be used by watchGPT. To create an api-key, surf to the api-keys website.
When you are logged in, tap ‘Create new secret key’ and write down the key. NB! You will only see this API key once. When you lose it you have to make a new one. Even if you don’t follow ChatGPT’s rules, you will lose the key.
Beware of ChatGPT apps in the App Store on iPhone
There are also apps for chatGPT on the iPhone in the App Store. These apps ask you to subscribe. You even pay 9.99 euros per week. Striking, because the service is available for free in the browser.
