Chantal Bles emotional after hairdresser’s visit to daughter Jada: ‘We are so proud’

A special moment for Chantal Bles and Robert Doornbos: daughter Jada (6) went to the hairdresser for the first time. And because she lost her hair to chemotherapy a few years ago, they went wild.

“Yesterday Jada went to the hairdresser for the first time,” Chantal writes on Instagram. “That will always be a moment for every parent. For me it certainly was because it feels like yesterday that her hair disappeared because of that terrible chemotherapy.”

In April 2018, daughter Jada was diagnosed with a tumor on her kidney. Fortunately, after many treatments, she is cancer-free again. Jada now has a full head of hair. “Look at her now! The most beautiful hair I’ve ever seen,” Chantal writes with a photo of her daughter. “And to make this an even more special moment, Jada got to have pink hair. We are so proud of our champ!”
