Central government launches My Data app with all data about yourself
The Dutch government has released a new application; the MijnData app, an app from MijnGovernment. The application makes it clear to citizens what information is known about them. You can also search for information yourself.
MyData app
MijnOverheid has released a new application for Android and Apple iOS. With the MyData app you can view the personal data that the government has registered. This concerns, for example, information about your car; including when your APK expires. In addition, the application shows important data such as the expiry date of your driver’s license or passport. These dates can also be added directly to the agenda, so that you can be reminded of this.
Personal details such as your Citizen Service Number (BSN) and your home address are shown. You can also see which vehicles are registered in your name. Information about education and training can also be found in the app, as well as the energy label of your home and income data. If information is incorrect, the app must show you the way to adjust certain data or have it adjusted.
The MyData app will be available next to the MessagesBox app and the MijnGovernment app. The application can be used by all Dutch people aged 14 and older with an activated MijnGovernment account. Logging in is done via the DigiD app, which you may still need to download. The MyData app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store via the button below.
