CD Projekt silently postpones Cyberpunk -apkrig updates

The editors of Video Games Chronicle have noticed that the developers from the Projekt RED CD have quietly postponed all other updates and free DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 until next year. The information is based on an updated roadmap that has appeared on the studio’s official website. The changes came on October 28, and unlike the version of the schedule, which was known from August 18, it promises new content and any changes or improvements until the first quarter of next year. Of course, the report goes hand in hand with the recent postponement of the next-gen update of Cyberpunk 2077 and The Sorcerer 3, which we informed you about last week and would probably contain similar excuses when publicly announced.

The CD Projekt has not yet commented on the change, but it is becoming relatively clear that putting Cyberpunk 2077 into a state in which it could be played on the previous generation console, ie PC, without restrictions and errors, will be much more challenging than originally expected. The CD Projekt also cannot get stuck in place and there are more or less clear signals that, of course, another big project is being worked on in the background. The last time talked about was the development of new games a week ago, when CD Projekt announced the acquisition of Molasses Flood, but everything remains in general terms and in line with what CD Projekt said earlier – developers remain true to their two main brands.

The last big update for Cyberpunk 2077 remains the one from mid-September, through which the game reached version 1.31. The game has undergone a number of changes, including graphics, gameplay and interface modifications, and the removal of another load of bugs that prevent a full-fledged and undisturbed experience. But everything else will come until after Christmas
