Catch Scyther & Evolve Axantor

In the Hisui region of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you can evolve the new Pokémon Axantor. This is a new development of Sichlor that can only be triggered under certain conditions. We’ll tell you how to get Axantor below.

Catch & evolve Scyther

If you want to catch Axantor, you won’t be able to do so in-game, since you can only evolve this Pokémon from Scyther. In any case, you must first catch Sichlor in order to have a chance of developing Axantor.

You can Scyther relatively early in the game in the Obsidian Grasslands Find. Here it comes in Territory Giant Tree Battlefield before. Here you also had to defeat King Axantor in the course of the story.

Scyther locations are at the Giant Tree Battlefield (Pokémon Legends: Arceus).

You can even find an Elite Scythe in the southwest of the Giant Tree Battlefield. So if you want to develop an elite Axantor, you should catch this specimen. If you’re already a little further along in the game, you can alternatively still Find a stronger Scythe in the Primeval Cave in Crater Mountain Highlands.

Develop Axantor

If you have Scyther, you must give it the Black Augite evolution item to allow it to evolve into Axantor. The easiest way to get this item is by defeating Georok, since Black Augite is one of the items it can drop.

Georok is very common in the game world and carries Black Augite (Pokémon Legends: Arceus).

Since Georoks occur in many areas, you will not need long for this project. It’s best to go to the scree hill in the Red Marshland and defeat one Georok after the other until you get a Schwarzaugit. The quickest way to kill Georoks is with a strong water-type Pokémon.

For the Axantor development you must then click on the Black Augite in the menu and give it Sichlor. Axantor is a Bug/Rock-type Pokémon, so it has only three weaknesses: Water, Rock, and Steel. So it’s a very good reinforcement for your teams. If you also want to find and develop Eevee, we will also help you in the linked guide.
