Cardi B emotionally a wreck after giving birth: ‘I cry about everything’

Cardi and her husband Offset welcomed their second child, a son, in early September. Weeks later, the baby blues are still hitting hard, as is apparent from the post she recently posted on Twitter: ‘I can’t wait for these weird postpartum hormones to completely leave my body. I cry for no reason.’

Her words are recognizable to many followers. ‘The first weeks I also let my tears run over absolutely nothing’, someone writes. Another says she has never cried so much in her life as after giving birth.

In 2019 Cardi gave birth to daughter Kulture (3). She was also quite frank after the birth. “I struggled with postpartum depression and expected it wouldn’t take that long for my body to heal. Six weeks or so, I thought. But my body turned out to be extremely weak. So weak, I realized that postpartum stuff isn’t nothing.’
