Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro (4G) with old base

With the Redmi Note 12 series, Xiaomi actually presented four strong Android smartphones for Germany, which range in price from 200 to 500 euros. However, the Chinese company is active in many areas of the world and also offers models there that do not exist here. However, this Xiaomi cell phone does not have much in common with the current Redmi Note 12 series. From a purely technical point of view, this is a 2021 model based on the then popular Redmi Note 11 Pro. The Snapdragon 732G is already very old at three years old. And the software also leaves a lot to be desired. After all, Xiaomi actually installs on a brand new smartphone Android 11 with MIUI 13 before. The older Redmi Note 11 Pro already runs Android 13 with MIUI 14. A smartphone manufacturer of this size shouldn’t really be able to afford such a mistake.

Otherwise, the Redmi Note 12 Pro (4G) offers the usual equipment with the 108 MP camera, the 5,000 mAh battery with 67 watt charging function and the 120 Hz AMOLED display. So the Redmi Note 12 Pro (4G) is not bad. It should only have appeared with the current processor and new software.

The 5G model of the Redmi Note 12 Pro is much better positioned:
