Deutsche Bahn has activated ticket booking for journeys up to six months in advance. You can now plan and save on the carnival and Easter trips for 2023. Lfrom the Verkehrsclub Deutschland (VCD) it is worth looking for train tickets, especially in the morning before 6 a.m. and in the evening after 8 p.m. Then the prices should be the lowest.

The prices are usually highest for journeys on Friday and Sunday, after all many travelers use the weekend. The passenger association “Pro Bahn” recommends above all Rides on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Saturdays before 10 a.m. and after 8 p.m. Directly before and after Christmas as well as on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, the cheap train tickets should be gone the fastest and the prices correspondingly highest.
