Our recommendations for April
The biographical mini-series starts in April “The Dropout” in the Amanda Seyfried (Les Misérables, The Glowing of Silence) plays the role of Elizabeth Holmes. Holmes was the founder of the medical technology company Theranos, which claimed to be able to revolutionize blood tests with specially developed devices – a promise that later turned out to be a huge hoax.
In addition, the new comedy series starts “Single Drunk Female” at the Sofia Black-D’Elia (The Mick, Your Honor) takes on the role of a party-loving young woman who has to stay sober after a spectacular crash and move back in with her mother to avoid jail time.
Also, you can Rami Malik (Mr. Robot, Papillon) as Freddie Mercury in “Bohemian Rhapsody” see. The film, which won 4 Oscars, tells the story of the legendary British rock band “Queen” and its members Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon up until their famous Live Aid performance in 1985.
