Everyone once wanted a BlackBerry, but that is no longer the case. Work is underway to return the once-popular phone. And that smartphone could look like this!

Even before Apple came up with the iPhone, there was BlackBerry. Everyone wanted one. But soon the device became obsolete and the competition caught up with them. BlackBerry could not handle all the smartphone violence and almost completely disappeared from the stage. But possible sketches have now been made how BlackBerry can make a comeback.

Since 2020 it has become quite quiet around BlackBerry. The company Onward Mobility then took out a license to work on a 5G smartphone with Android and a physical keyboard. We haven’t seen anything in the meantime, so the creative Niels D got to work. He shows a possible design of the smartphone and that evokes good memories. What made the BlackBerry so special? Right, the keyboard. Incidentally, that was also their downfall, because she did not want to evaluate it further. In this concept, the physical keyboard has been completely modernized. You will see a so-called Display Keyboard. This keyboard takes up about 25% of your screen. The keys can change content. You can use them as a keyboard to type a message (with the feeling that you are tapping on a physical keyboard) and other times you use it quickly for shortcuts to emoticons or to take a call.
