Bitcoin sentiment is bad and you can tell

So far, Bitcoin has not been a profitable investment this year.

This year, cryptocurrency is not yet jumping. The price of Bitcoin in particular is dangling a bit. If you invested in the most famous cryptocurrency in the world on the first day of the year, you would now be more than 18 percent down. The figures can be found on Coinmarketcap.

Contrary to the past, Bitcoin seems to be more sensitive to developments on the stock market. The stock market has recently been in the red. It has also been a pretty volatile period. All those developments have done the value of Bitcoin no good.

Bitcoin as an investment

Last week, the currency fell below $40,000 in value. There is currently no talk of recovery. In fact, with all these uncertainties, a further decline seems more likely than an increase.

There must be a turning point for Bitcoin to start growing again. That should not only come from the world of cryptocurrency. The stock market also needs a turnaround for this. However, the latter does not seem to be the case.

After years of growth, 2022 looks set to be a year in which the corrections will take place. Perhaps the crisis has already started. After all, the corona bill has to be paid once.
