The OnePlus 10 Pro has just been officially introduced in its home country of China. It comes with the top parameters that this phone really impresses with. So let’s take a closer look at this novelty.
Beautiful display and high performance thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor
The front of the device is dominated by a large, 6.7-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED screen with a high resolution of 1440p. The panel supports an adaptive refresh rate, ranging from 1 to 120 Hz. This is one way to save battery power.
The phone is powered by the latest chipset from the Qualcomm workshop, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. This fact does not surprise anyone. The processor is complemented by 8 to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 or 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Great Hasselblad signature cameras
The camera set is again manufactured in cooperation with the Hasselblad brand. The main sensor has a resolution of 48 MP Sony IMX89. The pixels have a size of 1.12 μm. The luminosity stopped at f / 1.8.
OnePlus 9 Pro
The wide sensor has 50 MP. It is a Samsung JN1 and features a record, 150-degree angle of view. The 8 MP telephoto lens offers 3.3x optical zoom. The front “selfie” sensor Sony IMX615 has 32 MP and aperture f / 2.4.
The partnership with Hasselblad brings photos with natural colors. Ide o Natural Color Optimization 2.0. Mobile photography enthusiasts will enjoy the presence of Pro Mode 2.0, which will bring more advanced RAW photos.
The Chinese version of OnePlus 10 Pro has Android 12 and ColorOS 12.1
Of course, the operating system became Android 12. However, it is hidden under the user superstructure ColorOS 12.1. It is expected that the global version will still have the popular OxygenOS, which, however, is getting closer to the mentioned ColorOS. During the show, the company spent almost 20 minutes talking about a feature called Hyperboost. It is a convenience that can maximize the performance of the device for gaming purposes.
Of course, an efficient cooling system also needs proper performance. The one in the OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone is about half the size of A4 paper, which is about 340 square centimeters. Cooling is also suitable for fast charging of a 5,000 mAh battery. The adapter has 80 W. This is almost a 25 percent increase over its predecessor. Wireless charging is also extremely fast and reaches 50 W.
OnePlus 9 Pro
The OnePlus 10 Pro will be sold in China for now and will be available in two colors. The phone looks great in both black and green. The price for the version with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage is set at € 650. The best-equipped edition with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory costs € 733. However, these are prices for the Chinese market.
We will have to wait some time for the global launch. The competition for the OnePlus 10 Pro is the current Xiaomi 12 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 model line or Google Pixel 6 Pro.
