Biocheck

Not being able to say no, working overtime regularly, a busy social life and the constant stimuli of social media. They are all factors that create activity for your body and mind. If this continues for a long time, you will be able to recover less and less well, even at rest. Your energy supplies become exhausted, resulting in (chronic) fatigue and burnout complaints. For these reasons, former Olympian Patrick van Luijk is launching a new app with a human voice today – on Valentine’s Day – that guides and encourages you when you are training or trying to relax. The app focuses on employee fitness, recovery and reintegration processes.

Every morning you measure your breathing and heart rate with the app and heart rate belt. Based on this measurement, the app then calculates your recovery capacity for that day. The app then includes this recovery capacity in the calculations to ensure that you exercise exactly within the ideal values for you that day. If you are going to train that day, you can use the app to train exactly at your own pace and within your personal capacity for that day. This way you build up your fitness and energy step by step.

The new BioCheck app also has a built-in human companion; a (human) voice that guides you during your training sessions and gives tips and tricks once you have taken your rest measurements. In addition, nudges (small incentives) are built into the app to help participants trigger in areas such as breathing, sleep, movement, but also nutrition. Training schedules (for 10 km, the half marathon and the full marathon) will also be available shortly. Do you also want to use BioCheck? Then ask your employer about the possibilities.

School Diary – Timetable & Homework

The School Diary app aims to be the alternative to well-known calendar apps like Google or Microsoft, and the developers do that by specifically addressing student needs. The app does even more than the standard things you expect from a regular agenda. You know: collecting the tasks, scheduling events and setting reminders.

In School Agenda you can also fill in your class schedule so that you can find at a glance what is on the program every day and in which room you are expected. You also enter the results of your tests and tasks, which gives you a better idea of the score you can expect at the end of the year. The app automatically calculates the averages.
