Apple would present two new Macs at WWDC 2022

WWDC 2022, which will be held from June 6 to 10, should be the occasion for Apple to announce two new Macs according to information from Mark Gurman of Bloomberg. The latest model is the Mac Studio, announced last month.

MacBook Air M2 could be coming to WWDC

According to Gurman, “two new Macs are coming around the middle of the year or early in the second half”. One of the two machines would be the new MacBook Air. This one has been talked about for a while now. Leaks point to a new design and the M2 chip. As a reminder, the current MacBook Air was one of the first models to have the M1, namely the first Apple Silicon chip for Macs, alongside the 13-inch MacBook Pro and the Mac mini. This dates back to the end of 2020.

Rumors also suggest a design inspired by the 24-inch iMac, including white borders around the screen. As far as the screen is concerned, rumors from the corridors had suggested a Mini-LED panel, but this would not ultimately be the case.

Other Macs in the pipeline for 2022 would include a new Mac mini, a new 24-inch iMac, as well as a new entry-level MacBook Pro to replace the existing 13-inch model. There’s also a new iMac Pro and a new Mac Pro, but will they see the light of day in 2022?
