Apple unveils a surprising new product
Apple might just come up with a surprising new product that could be here in a few days!
Next Monday is the date of the World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC). And it seems increasingly likely that it will end with ‘One More Thing’. This is Apple’s favorite expression for something completely new. The last One More Thing was when the first Apple Watch was unveiled alongside the iPhone 6 in September 2014. So why is the capability of the new headset, dubbed Apple Glass by some, a surprise?

The latest information comes from a report by Ming-Chi Kuo, the trusted analyst for TFI Securities. In a couple tweets, Kuo explained what to expect from Apple. Many other analysts think Apple isn’t ready for the announcement yet. They think they wait until the last minute when everything is perfect.
Kuo disagrees. “Maybe I’m being too optimistic, but a little bit of me is still hopeful that there could be news. After all, I never expected the product to be released and the operating software to be announced soon so developers could immediately start building apps for it.”

Kuo continued: “I am confident that if Apple announces the AR/MR headset and accompanying operating system at WWDC, competitors will immediately start copycat projects and happily copy Apple’s excellent ideas and hit store shelves before Apple will be launched in 2023.” The company should therefore be smart about this.
Tech blogger Robert Scoble, aka @Scobleizer, thinks we won’t see the headset until next year. He thinks there will be related news at WWDC: “WWDC will introduce a new development environment for a new kind of photorealistic 3D scenes, avatars and much more. One thing’s for sure: we’ll know next week!
