Apple TV + cancels Mr. Corman series after one season
It’s already the end for Mr. Corman with Apple TV + which decided to stop the series after one season. The last episode of the first (and therefore only) season aired yesterday.
No season 2 for Mr. Corman on Apple TV +
Mr. Corman on Apple TV + is a series that was created, directed, written and produced by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who also played the lead role. The program follows the daily life of Josh Corman, an artist at heart who failed to make a career. Things haven’t been going the way he’d like lately: his dream of a career in music didn’t come true, so he found himself teaching in the fifth grade at a school in the San Fernando Valley, his ex. -Fiancee Megan left him and his high school friend moved in with him. Realizing that he still has many reasons to be grateful, Josh nonetheless suffers from feelings of anxiety, loneliness and personal worthlessness.
Why the stop? The reason is simple: the audience was not there. Apple TV + therefore preferred to put a stop to it rather than renew it for a second season. In any case, this is the second series that the streaming service is canceling. The first was Her voice.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt reacted on Twitter regarding the series cancellation:
So, Mr. Corman won’t be coming back for season 2.
It’s meant so, so much to me to hear from you all who connected with the show – those who felt good, felt sad, felt challenged, felt seen, felt small and meaningless, or felt big, warm, and delicious.
Thanks for watching ❤️

The links between Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Apple TV + are in any case not severed. He took care of the production of the animated series Wolfboy and the Factory of the Strange on the streaming service. He also does one of the voices.
