Apple to start production of Apple Car in 2024
Apple is in talks with several manufacturers for the development of Apple Car. According to the latest rumors, production will start in 2024.

Apple kicks the gas: Apple Car production in 2024
Apple isn’t just developing the iPhone. According to the latest reports, the tech giant is also preparing for the production of Apple Car in 2024. For this, Apple recently ran neighborhoods at LG Electronics and SK Group. A visit to Toyota is now also added, reports DigiTimes.
As early as 2014, Apple started the car project ‘Project Titan’. The development has been slow for years, but now things seem to be moving a little more. A few years ago it was thought that Apple would mainly focus on software for self-driving cars and CarPlay.
Now that more and more big names (such as Apple CEO John Giannandrea, from Siri, among others) are participating in the project, it is expected that Apple will actually start working on a ‘consumer car’.
The big problem with electric cars is often the range. This is the distance a car travels with a charged battery. On average, that is about 300 to 400 kilometers. Apple also seems to have an answer for that problem, because they are working on a battery that is “cheaper and has a longer range.”
Slow down a bit
Apple is following the electric car industry with great interest, that’s for sure. For example, at the end of 2020, a former Porsche CEO switched to Apple to work on the mysterious project. Apple also acquired a series of start-ups involved in (autonomous) driving, such as Drive.AI.
However, it remains to be seen whether production can actually start in 2024. There is still a shortage of chips worldwide, causing further delays in development. In addition, the well-known Apple insider Ming-Chi Kuo has already indicated that he expects the launch to take place only in 2028.
