Apple is arming the live stream

WWDC 2023 begins on Monday, June 5th. Apple’s developer conference traditionally opens with a keynote. If you want to see the premiere of iOS 17 for the iPhone, you have to follow the live stream.

Apple already has that live stream “Armed” on YouTube, i.e. the placeholder is already live. Apple’s event page is also ready, and the keynote for the developer conference will also be shown live there. Every year, Apple’s developer conference is eagerly awaited. As is well known, the WWDC will start this year on Monday 5 June 2023. We get to see the guild of iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and much more, because Apple gives a first look at the upcoming operating systems.

Live stream for iOS 17: Apple reveals the time for the WWDC keynote

So it starts at 10 a.m. on the morning of June 5, 2023. However, this is California local time. As is well known, the clocks tick differently for us in Europe, because the time difference of 9 hours has to be taken into account. Ergo: In Germany, the keynote for WWDC 2023 starts at 7 p.m. on time for the end of the day.

The question still remains as to how you will present the keynote in the live stream can follow. Apple also makes enlightening answers. Apple is apparently planning to present its mixed reality headset and the associated operating system. At first the VR/AR glasses still be very expensive, but in a few years this device is expected to replace the iPhone.

However, you will not be able to buy the headset directly, it will probably not be ready until the end of the year. There’s a better chance MacBook Air with 15 inch display. The XL version of the popular notebook is also expected and should be available to order soon.
