With a little delay, Apple is now inviting you to an event on March 8th. We’ll tell you at what time you should stock up on chips and coke in this country.

updated: Now it’s official, as Apple just announced, you’re invited to the special event March 8, 2022 at 7 p.m. our time (10 a.m. local time). As always, there will be a live stream on Apple’s website and YouTube. Apple executive Greg “Joz” Joswiak announced the good news via Twitter.

Apple event: Siri already knows more, just can’t say anything

If you are curious and ask Siri what will be presented at the future Apple event, you will usually not get a satisfactory answer from the iPhone voice assistant. Instead, one was simply referred to Apple’s website.

At the moment, however, one has a little more luck: US users ask, for example: “What is going to be announced at the Apple Event?” then Siri traitorously responds with the following enigmatic words:

“You can’t hurry news. No, you’ll just have to wait.” In German: “You can’t rush news. No, you just have to wait.” (Source: 9to5mac)

If you ask us, a little clearer than just a simple “no comment”. Incidentally, the request also works on German iPhones, but with a slightly different translation of the English original. Siri also asks for patience here and tells us: “I can’t reveal anything, you have to be patient a little longer.”

German users also received a mysterious message (Image: GIGA, screenshot).

It is quite possible that the iPhone manufacturer will postpone the date at short notice, given the tense world situation. Times of war aren’t really suitable for carefree product presentations.

Already knew? Siri can also do something like this:

That would of course also be possible Presentation of new products without a big show, a succinct press release might suffice. It is quite possible that the iPhone SE 3, the iPad Air 5, the MacBook Pro with an M2 chip and a Mac mini with an M1 Pro will simply be announced and then be ordered directly from the Apple Store. There will probably be clarification in the next few days.
