Apple Arcade hits the 200-game milestone

Apple Arcade has reached a new threshold with now 200 games available. There were 197 so far and today’s three additions made it possible to pass the milestone, as noted CNET. The three games are Super Leap Day, Super Stickman Golf 3+ and Monster Hunter Stories +.

The platform was launched in September 2019, so it took almost two years to get 200 games on Apple Arcade. There were times when it was very quiet with only updates, if at all. But the situation has improved in recent weeks with several new features.

With Apple Arcade, users can play 200 games on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. The subscription is € 4.99 / month and the titles have no advertising just like they do not have paid DLC. Users get the full experience without having to pay extra. Also, a significant advantage is the support for backups via iCloud. It is thus possible to start a game on one device and resume it on another.

The latest batch of games includes mostly titles that were popular at one time. In particular, there was Fruit Ninja, Monument valley, Mini Metro and Threes to recite nobody else but them. These are generally improved versions with the abbreviation “+” at the end of the name.
