TikTok is currently the place to share short videos with fun tunes. Dancing, singing, lip-synching, it all happens in the timeline and you can share, like and leave comments below. TikTok videos are up to 60 seconds in length, and the company has also started testing videos that are up to three minutes in length.

TikTok is very popular with (young) teenagers, but more and more adults also appreciate the app. However, there is also a dark side to this app. You will immediately get a good impression of this if you scroll down to our TikTok page on Androidworld. We were curious whether you still use TikTok despite all your privacy concerns and you responded massively. The vast majority (66%) have never installed the TikTok app and about 13% use the app regularly. The app is therefore not available to the majority of Androidworld readers. You give as reasons: “Something for toddlers”, “Done with all that social media”, “Terrible”, “Lots of half-naked ladies shaking their bottoms”, “No need” and so on.
