Android TV 13 has been announced: here’s what’s new

This is reflected, for example, in switches that allow you to adjust things such as the microphone. Google is also adding an option that automatically pauses media when you switch to a different source device on a different HDMI port. Google has shared a changelog detailing the new features in Android TV 13.
Although Google has released Android TV 13, when the update will be available for televisions is not known. Developers will now slowly but surely get started, but there are also plenty of new TVs that run on Android TV 11. It is unclear which smart TVs will receive the update to version 13 and when. Google’s own Chromecast was also equipped with Android TV 12 not too long ago.
