Android security update September 2022: 51 vulnerabilities addressed
Google released Android security update September 2022. In the coming period, various smartphones, tablets and other devices will be updated with the new security patch.
September security update
A new security patch has been released for Android. It is the ninth security update released by Google this year. Every month, Google releases a new security update, which addresses numerous vulnerabilities and vulnerabilities. Manufacturers can then push this update to their devices.
With the September security update, a series of improvements are again made. In total, this concerns no fewer than 51 vulnerabilities that are addressed in Android. These patches are not for all devices. For example, a distinction is made between the type of processor and various other components in the smartphone, tablet or other Android device.

- Fix for issue occasionally causing increased battery drain from certain launcher background activities
- Fix for issue preventing wireless charging mode to activate in certain conditions
biometrics
- Additional improvements for fingerprint recognition and response in certain conditions
Bluetooth
- Fix for issue occasionally preventing certain Bluetooth devices or accessories from connecting
User Interface
- Fix for issue occasionally causing notifications to appear truncated on the lock screen
