Android 13 Beta 2.1 available for Pixel phones
Google released Android 13 Beta 2.1 for Pixel phones on Thursday evening. This update comes with a number of bug fixes and is available through an OTA update.

Android 13 Beta 2.1
Android 13 will be the successor to Android 12 and Google announced this Android version at the beginning of February. Since then, a number of developer previews and beta versions have been released, and now Google is making Android 13 Beta 2.1 available. This is an interim patch update and it fixes the following issues that users have provided as feedback:
- Fixed an issue where typing in the search bar resulted in an empty list of suggestions.
- Fixed an issue where devices would crash and reboot when enabling the hotspot.
- Fixed an issue where a continuous ringing sound could be heard in the background during a phone call.
- Fixed an issue where devices would crash and reboot after disconnecting from Android Auto.

New in Android 13
Google has changed the way notifications and permissions work in Android 13, among other things. There were more possibilities for haptic feedback, a new photo browser and a more convenient system for adding tiles from apps to the quick settings.
In addition, Google also lets the app icons of Pixel phones color with the background. That no longer only works for Google apps. Material You also includes more color palettes to customize the design of your phone.
