iPhone 15: all models get a 48 megapixel camera

The camera of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max has a cool feature that allows you to take a 48-megapixel photo. This has the advantage that you see even more details in your photos. You get more out of these photos, especially at night or in low light thanks to this excellent camera.

Good news! Because with the iPhone 15, all models will soon have this 48-megapixel camera. Sony is making the sensors for the upcoming iPhone 15 camera. According to the rumor on the Chinese website IThome, the large tech company was recently told that all iPhone 15 models will receive the new camera. Therefore, Sony has now had to turn to TSMC for help to meet the increased demand.

More about the iPhone 15

It is of course nice that all iPhone models will soon get the 48 megapixel camera. But of course the new iPhone has more improvements in store for you. For example, there will also be some changes to the screens.

The new screens of the iPhone 15 will have thinner edges than is currently the case with the iPhone 14. For example, previous images showed that the screen edges of the iPhone 15 Pro Max are visibly thinner than those of the iPhone 14 Pro Max. For comparison: the iPhone 14 Pro Max has screen edges of 2.17 millimeters. With the iPhone 15 Pro Max, this is only 1.55 millimeters.

Furthermore, the regular iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus now also get the Dynamic Island. This function of the iPhone 14 Pro (Max) is coming to all iPhone 15 models. As a result, Apple is saying goodbye to the notch with the iPhone 15 series. The iPhone 15 will then no longer have a notch in the screen.
