Android 12 does have a sweet name: Snow Cone

Google said goodbye to the sweet names with new Android versions a while ago. Now there is secretly a name for Android 12.

With Android 9, a sweet name was last used with an Android version. No official names were given with Android 10 Q and Android 11 R. As far as we know, that is not actually the case with Android 12, but Dave Burke of Google now has some news about this.

On Twitter, Burke shares a background of Snow Cone, the presumably sweet name for Android 12. The name ‘Snow Cone’ will not be actively used, it is expected, to the outside world it is simply called Android 12. You can use the background find in the tweet.
