Android 12 as a battery protector? Through adaptive charging
In December 2020, Google introduced a very interesting feature that is trying to smartly extend battery life for Pixel phones. While the owner of the cell phone is asleep, charger into it it does not pump energy with all its mightto be charged as quickly as possible, but it doses the power (ie the value of the charging current). Up to 80% of the battery capacity, the phone is normally charged, then the process is slowed down so that full charging is achieved only a few tens of minutes before the set alarm. As it seems, this tvol. adaptive charging will be available for all phones with the new Android 12 system.
Currently, the Pixel owner must (the feature is limited to Generation 4 and later) connect the mobile phone to the charger after 9 pm and the alarm clock set between 5 am and 10 am. Similarly, it could work for devices from other brands in a few weeks, unless the manufacturers do otherwise. The probable arrival of this function is reported by people on Reddit. Their mobile phones with the public beta version of the twelfth Android they charge quickly to about three quarters of the capacity, a full charge then occurs thirty and ninety minutes before the alarm clock.
