Android 11 rolls out for Samsung Galaxy S20 (Plus and Ultra)
Do you have a Samsung Galaxy S20, S20 Plus or S20 Ultra? Then we have good news for you: the Android 11 update is rolling out. First it is the turn of devices that have been purchased from Vodafone.

The One UI 3.0 update is now rolling out for the Samsung Galaxy S20 series, which also includes the Samsung S20 Plus and Samsung S20 Ultra. One UI 3.0 is Samsung’s own Android ‘shell’ and based on Android 11, the latest version of the operating system. You will automatically receive a notification when the update is ready for your device.
It seems that Vodafone-branded devices are next. Did you buy your Samsung Galaxy S20 from another provider or webshop? Then you may have to be patient for a few days / weeks. Via the settings menu you can check under the Software tab whether Android 11 is already ready for Samsung Galaxy S20.
Is this the case? Always make a backup of your smartphone in advance. In the unlikely event that the update goes wrong, you will in any case not lose any personal information. Also connect your Samsung to the charger during the update. This way you prevent the device from failing in the meantime. It is also wise to download the Android 11 update via WiFi: the installation file is quite substantial.
