An iPod touch 8 in fall 2021, iPad Air style?
A surprising rumor is born: Apple would prepare an iPod touch 8 and it would see the light of day in the fall of 2021. This is what developer Steve Moser announces, with the help of another leaker.
The information is to be taken with enormous tweezers for now. This is the first time we hear of an iPod touch 8, which is more with a release for this year. Apple seemed to have put aside its multimedia player, but a new model would be in the pipeline.
Steve Moser notes that Apple resumed mentioning iPod touch in its Apple Music releases in November “And now we know why”, he said. The product renders are reminiscent of the fourth generation iPad Air, with the same colors and a screen that takes up a good part of the surface. Thus, the Home button would disappear with probably Touch ID in the ON / OFF button on the right edge.

If the information is confirmed, then this iPod touch 8 could see the light of day in September, alongside the iPhone 13, Apple Watch Series 7 and other products. The supposed presentation would take place in September.
