Amazon sells Echo Show 5 (3rd generation) for 49.99 euros
It’s almost a classic, the smart screen speaker Echo Show 5, which is now in its 3rd generation. It is the latest model, which was only presented in May 2023. Prime customers currently only pay $49.99 for the Echo Show 5 instead of 109.99 euros, which corresponds to a discount of 55 percent.

Amazon Echo Show 5: What is the smart speaker suitable for?
Compared to its direct predecessor (Amazon Echo Show 5, 2nd gen.), the Echo Show 5 offers a improved speaker system with deeper bass. The compact screen is great for reading messages, checking the Ring Security Camera, and checking shopping lists. Also video calls with friends or family are a popular use case. The microphone system has been revised to ensure improved responsiveness from the digital assistant Alexa. The Echo Show 5 also supports matterto easily connect and control compatible smart home products from different brands.
The strongest argument is certainly that low price for the whole package, especially if you’re buying the Echo Show 5 on sale. One thing to be clear about is that the Echo Show 5 isn’t meant to be a high-end audiophile speaker or an over-the-top professional display. Rather, it is a useful everyday device at a fair price. One important caveat: the Echo Show 5 is a stationary system without battery, the power for operation comes from the socket. If you are looking for portable entertainment, you have to look at Bluetooth speakers or tablets.
