Already in cinemas in 2023 – the trailer is here

The friendly neighborhood spider will be paying us a visit next summer, when the superhero’s latest adventure hits cinemas around the world. However, the Spider-Man costume does not always and necessarily include the well-known Peter Parker of the MCU.

It’s not the Spider-Man of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that’s raging around in German cinemas from June 1, 2023. So Tom Holland isn’t coming out of “retirement” just yet. Instead, Sony gives us the Sequel to a real surprise hit. Four years ago, “Spider-Man: A New Universe” not only convinced the critics, but also the viewers were impressed by the animated superhero film.

The focus is not on Peter Parker, but on Miles Morales, who as a budding spider hero then opens the door to the multiverse or the “Spider-Verse”. By the way, this was long before the MCU jumped the chains of its own universe and united all three real spiders (Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland) in the last Spider-Man film.

With worldwide earnings approaching $400 million, a sequel to the hit animated film was certain. It is coming to German cinemas just in time for the meteorological beginning of summer. Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse Launches June 1st, but there is still a little time until then. As a little foretaste, Sony is now distributing the first official trailer for the film:
