All mounts and their abilities

In Minecraft Legends you are not on foot, but use different mounts. In this guide we show you all mounts and their special abilities.

Unlock mounts in Minecraft Legends

To use a mount in Minecraft Legends, you must have it first find in the overworld. Once you’ve spotted it, all you have to do is level up by holding down the interact button.

Mounts that have already been found are always available in your base. You can also find them in every village in the campaign. So you always have the right mount for every situation to choose from.

What mounts are in Minecraft Legends?

Currently there are the following four mounts in Minecraft Legends:

Horse	Infinite endurance	starting animal
Bengal Tiger	Fastest Animal	dry savannah
Shiny Beetle	Glide, climb walls	jungle
big beak	Glide, high jump	Rugged peaks

Each mount is suitable for different tasks:

Tigers are good for long distances in the lowlands.
Beetles are suitable for mountainous terrain. You can also use them to penetrate fortresses by climbing the walls.
Birds shine in jump passages.

Improve mounts with boosts

You can’t strengthen your mounts, but you can strengthen them using specific ones Plants in the Overworld grant short-term buffs:

feather hats improve your jumping power. Especially useful for reaching high places or gliding as far as possible with the bird or bug.
speed wheat increases your movement speed. This way you can reach your destination even faster.
