‘AirPods Pro 2 get Lightning connection

Ming-Chi Kuo provides just a little more information about the AirPods Pro 2. Read in this article about the rumors and the Lightning connection of the AirPods Pro 2.

Read on after the ad.

‘AirPods Pro 2 produced in Vietnam’

In a tweet, reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says that the mass production of the AirPods Pro 2 is about to start in Vietnam. It is striking that this does not take place in China, as it is the case with all other popular products from Apple.

This Apple analyst expects that the charging case of the Apple AirPods Pro 2 still has a Lightning connection. The new AirPods Pro 2 are expected around the fall.

‘Apple’s high end earphones get an update’

Apple’s Pro earbuds have not been updated since 2019. That’s why there are more and more rumors about a new version. For example, the famous ‘stalks’ would disappear with the AirPods Pro 2. Mark Gurman, another famous Apple analyst from Bloombergconfirmed this much earlier.

Unfortunately, we do not see a USB-C with the charging box. However, we do expect other great new functions. For example, this new box can be found via the ‘Find My’ app. If you are close while searching, it will play a sound. In addition, the AirPods Pro 2 (with Lightning connection) support lossless audio in Apple Music.

Another rumor is that the AirPods Pro 2 will also get built-in motion sensors to enhance the Health app. The integration of sensors would ensure that the head can be measured better. This, in conjunction with the iPhone and Apple Watch, provides an even more detailed picture of the user’s health.

When will we see usb-c with the AirPods Pro?

Kuo reported earlier this month that a future iPhone is swapping the Lightning port for USB-C. The analyst also predicted that with future AirPods Pro the Lightning connection will disappear when the iPhone switches to USB-C. It is unclear, however, when these changes will be implemented.
