After sales halt, Intel suspends all business operations in Russia

Only a month after having stopped distributing its processors to Russia and Belarus, Intel announces this time the total cessation of its commercial operations in the country held with an iron fist by Vladimir Putin. “Intel continues to join the global community in condemning Russia’s war on Ukraine and calling for a speedy return to peace” specifies the press release published by the founder, adding further that it will be implemented “business continuity measures to minimize disruption to our global operations.”

It is therefore this time the services to pro customers who are affected by this new measure. It is worth noting here that Intel is not withdrawing from Russia but is suspending its operations, which implicitly indicates that these same operations can resume their course when the situation normalizes again (if it ever normalizes). Intel joins a long list of companies that have withdrawn from the Russian market, including Apple, AMD, Adobe, General Electric, Spotify, CNN, ABC and even the BBC.
