Saber Interactive today quietly announced a new video game based on the horror film A Quiet Place, starring Emily Blunt. It will be a single-player story haunted adventure that will offer its own story and gameplay, which, according to the authors, captures the tension, emotions and drama with which this series became famous on the silver screen.
The title is being developed by the Canadian studio iLLOGIKA, whose developers previously worked on games from the Rainbow Six or Far Cry series. The publisher is Saber Interactive, which belongs to the Embracer Group and already has experience with movie-based games. She has released World War Z and is also preparing Evil Dead: The Game.
Creative director Hervé Sliwa is tempted that the new title will let fans experience the tension of immersion films they have never experienced before. The iLLOGIKA team has teamed up with EP1T0ME and they share the same vision, says Sliwa. Todd Hollenshead of Saber Interactive adds that the amazing success of Quiet Place clearly demonstrates that the audience wants more stories from this world. The iLLOGIKA studio project is to meet the high expectations associated with this brand.
It will be the first official big video game according to this IP. Despite an inconspicuous announcement and a minimum of details, it should be released next year.
