A security hole in the Clubhouse allowed users to post voice messages
Clubhouse is an increasingly well-known voice chat platform, which is currently exclusively available only for iPhone users. The application allows users to send public or private audio messages in individual chat rooms.
The creators of the social network claim that the conversations between users will remain private. However, the opposite has recently become true. That is, at least in part, since it is not literally a leak, but rather a mistake.

A prestigious social network may not be so prestigious
Only those who receive an invitation from others can access the Clubhouse app. Therefore, it is normally very difficult to enter this platform. The BBC reports that US cyber security researchers have posted information from a user on Twitter.
He was able to transmit voice messages to another website and thus violate the security of the Clubhouse platform. The developers responded immediately and assured users that they had solved the problem by installing security features that could prevent a similar situation from occurring.
This vulnerability was discovered after the user realized that the entire application was working. He connected the Clubhouse API to his website and basically managed to “share” his login details remotely with anyone on the Internet. People online could listen to any audio conversations from the application. Interesting situation, don’t you think?
The clubhouse thus clearly violates the rights of users and has become controversial
Interestingly, experts recommend that users consider the application to be “semi-public”. Despite the terms of use, voice conversations do not appear to be secure enough for a hacker to access them in any way.
Interviews with celebrities such as Elon Musk and Kevin Hart have reportedly been featured on YouTube, thanks in part to integrated screen recording features. Developers still have to think about whether it would be worthwhile to ban similar options in some way. Thus, prestige does not always mean private and secure.
Although Clubhouse can only be installed if you are an iOS user, there is also an edition designed just for Android.
