A new update for Nvidia Shield TV is out. What does it bring?
It has been almost 6 years since the introduction of the first box from Nvidia with Android TV. Users who bought it at the time certainly do not regret it, as it has one of the best supports ever. A new update for Nvidia Shield TV comes with the designation 8.2.3 and brings rather minor changes.

No matter what version of Shield TV you own, you still receive regular updates. Other Android TVs from a similar year can dream of that. The latest update Shield Experience brings security patches from April 2021 and brings other minor changes. It is worth mentioning the support of premium drivers SCUF Infinity4PS, SCUF Impact a SCUF Prestige or device support Corsair Slipstream Wireless via one USB receiver.
Many owners (including us) are waiting for a bigger Android update. The latest Android 11 would certainly come in handy and Nvidia doesn’t talk about this option at all, just as we don’t know anything about the new version of Shield TV.
