iOS 16: When will the first public beta be released?

Will the iPhone 14 Max get this surprising name change?
There will be no successor to the iPhone 13 mini this year; it gives way to a much larger 6.7-inch iPhone. It was long thought that Apple calls this device the iPhone 14 Max, but the tech giant may choose a different name.
According to rumor spreader Lanzk Apple chooses iPhone 14 Plus. Take this claim with a grain of salt, but it is not entirely unthinkable. For example, the Plus designation was also used on the iPhone 8 Plus.

iPhone won’t get 5G modem developed by Apple until 2023
It was already known that Apple is working on its own 5G chip. Unfortunately, it will probably be a while before we can enjoy this. According to FOSS Patents the first iPhone with Apple 5G modem will not be released until next year.
The delay is caused by a legal dispute with Qualcomm. According to FOSS Patents, the contract between the chipmaker and Apple will run until 2025. The iPhone maker can probably not just dispense with that.
