Samsung makes multitasking better with Android 12L for Galaxy Tab S8 series

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series models are updated with a new update. Users are offered the Android 12L update, which is mainly intended to improve the use of multitasking.

Google has created a modified version of Android 12 especially for tablets and foldable smartphones. Earlier, Android 12L was announced. This update is now being rolled out for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series. The update is immediately combined with a new version of its own skin; OneUI 4.1.1. Of course, several new features and improvements have been prepared for the Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+ and the Tab S8 Ultra.

We see the biggest improvements in multitasking. A new gesture lets you switch between split and full screen views with two fingers. Furthermore, you can now activate text recognition in images, there are more stickers in the Samsung Keyboard and you can set a different background for each contact during a call. Samsung also provides the One UI 4.1.1 update with other improvements; the My Files app is getting a search function that allows you to search through files, and it also includes new filtering actions. The Samsung Internet browser also gets optimizations and the most useful; the taskbar remains visible at the bottom of the screen.

Samsung says that the Galaxy Tab S8 series in South Korea and Europe will be updated with the update. The rollout has already started.
