Amazon has already banned several Chinese manufacturers from its sales platform. Now it’s the turn of another manufacturer of USB accessories. Choetech products can no longer be found on Amazon’s German platform. Maybe it’s about bought reviews again.

Amazon takes action: Choetech has to go

Amazon continues to clean up its sales platform. After Aukey products recently had to leave the virtual shop and RavPower and TaoTronics can no longer be found on Amazon.de, Choetech has now hit the next Chinese manufacturer. Also the Choetech’s internal Amazon shop is now empty, whereby some headings or descriptions of the products can still be found.

Why Amazon decided to take the step is currently the subject of speculation. Neither Amazon nor the manufacturer itself have commented on the subject. It cannot be ruled out that the reason for Choetech’s banishment is the same as that for Aukey. The manufacturer appeared to be positive reviews bought (Source: Caschy’s blog).

Purchased reviews have long been a big problem on Amazon. Manufacturers sometimes offer their products free of charge, provided that users are leave an “honest review”. Sometimes additional sums of money flow. According to Amazon’s guidelines, such a practice is prohibited and will be punished accordingly.

Of course, not all reviews are bought from Amazon. Sometimes they’re just plain funny, like ours Video shows:

Choetech: No more selling on Amazon

The Chinese manufacturer Choetech is above all known for its USB accessories. Among other things, chargers and charging stands are offered. A MagSafe charger for the iPhone 12 is also part of the portfolio, along with a solar charger.
