Apple Studio Display: Apple would prepare a 7K screen
Apple is currently working on a 7K screen that would be called Apple Studio Display, according to information from 9to5Mac. It would therefore be better compared to the Pro Display XDR.

A 7K screen is on the way at Apple
The Pro Display XDR is 32 inches and claims to be 6K (6,016 x 3,384 pixels), with 218 pixels per inch. In the case of the Apple Studio Display, it could be that we go to 245 pixels per inch, or Apple could stay on 218 inches and in this case offer a 36-inch panel.
This new 7K screen from Apple is announced to have the A13 chip, namely the same one that equips the iPhone 11. Rumors had already spoken of an external screen codenamed J327 with precisely a dedicated chip to help the Mac at the performance level. The Apple Studio Display would be precisely the screen with the code name J327.
There is currently no information on the price or the release date. This is an opportunity to recall that the leaks have already indicated that Apple should launch new Macs in 2022, as well as a new screen. It is possible that this is the model mentioned today.
Another unknown element concerns the positioning in relation to the Pro Display XDR. Will the new screen replace it? Or will it be offered as a supplement?
